Properly snap lid on, and these are leakproof. With a bit of respect, they last well. Just know; ALL plastic becomes more brittle when frozen. So DON'T try to prize lid off straight from freezer; leave to sit, or run under tepid water, before removing lid. Raised lid is a useful feature. These are the only 'prep containers' I buy.
